Three charged after police pursuit
Three people involved in a pursuit with law enforcement officers Monday were charged Tuesday.
Robert L. Norville Jr., 41, of New Riegel, was charged with failure to comply with a police officer, a third-degree felony; and Cyle J. Carter, 27, and Constance S. Norman, 39, both of Tiffin, were charged with obstructing official business, a second-degree misdemeanor, a Seneca County Jail spokeswoman said.
About 12:45 p.m. Monday, Sgt. David Pahl advised Seneca County Sheriff’s Office that he was pursuing a white Chevrolet Avalanche, according to a sheriff’s office report.
About three weeks ago, arrest warrants had been issued for Carter and Norville after a woman reported men broke into her trailer at 686 S. Sandusky St., Lot 80, and assaulted a man.
Monday’s pursuit involved Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, Tiffin Police Department, Fostoria Police Department and State Highway Patrol personnel and ended near TR 109 in Hopewell Township.
