Search warrant executed
FOSTORIA — A search warrant was executed at a Loudon Township apartment Monday.
Sara Houghtaling, 29, of Fostoria, was charged with breaking and entering, a fifth-degree felony; receiving stolen property, a first-degree misdemeanor; and obstruction, a second-degree misdemeanor, said Deputy Troy Callahan of Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.
Last week, a person reported a break-in at the maintenance room at Brookside Apartments, 11315 W. SR 18.
Callahan said Houghtaling lived in Apt. 13, and the break-in was at Apt. 6, the maintenance room.
Power tools were recovered during the search warrant, which was signed by Judge Mark Repp of Tiffin-Fostoria Municipal Court.
Houghtaling was incarcerated at Seneca County Jail, Callahan said.
Her bond was set at $19,000 cash — $10,000 on the breaking and entering charge, $5,000 on the receiving stolen property charge and $4,000 on the obstruction charge — with a 10-percent allowance, he said.
