Library Programs

Build a gingerbread-style home

Tiffin-Seneca Public Library is to host “Make a Gingerbread (Style) House” 5-7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Frost Kalnow room of the library, 77 Jefferson St.

Families are to register for a start time of 5 p.m., 6 p.m. or 6:30 p.m.

Families are asked to bring a box of graham crackers and decorations for the house. “Glue” is to be provided. Decorations can be old Halloween candy, stale cereal, marshmallows or other items.

Lego creations needed at T-SPL

Tiffin-Seneca Public Library is to host “Lego Saturday” 1-3 p.m. Saturday in the Frost Kalnow Room, 77 Jefferson St.

Children and families of all ages are invited to build their own Lego creations.

November’s theme is “growing.”

FOSTORIA — Kaubisch Memorial Public Library is to host Storytime at 10 a.m. Nov. 29, 205 Perry St.

The program features stories, songs and other engaging literacy activities.

CAREY — Dorcas Carey Public Library is to host a family movie day at 1 p.m. Wednesday, 236 E. Findlay St.

After-school program a library

CAREY — Dorcas Carey Public Library is to host the After School Bunch at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, 236 E. Findlay St.

The program is scheduled for every Tuesday when school is in session.

Children are invited to participate in a special craft and enjoy a snack.

CAREY — Dorcas Carey Public Library is to host Storytime at 10 a.m. Nov. 30, 236 E. Findlay St.

The program is for children ages 3-5 years old who have not started kindergarten. Each session is 30 minutes and features stories, songs, finger plans, flannel boards, crafts and more.

Letter recognition program set

CAREY — Dorcas Carey Public Library is to host ABC Come Play with Me at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 30, 236 E. Findlay St.

The program helps teach letter recognition to children up to 5 years old who have not started kindergarten.

Outdoors

Night is young adventurers topic

The Young Adventurers Program is to host “Into the Night” 7-8 p.m. Tuesday at Tiffin University Nature Preserve, 2375 W. CR 26.

The program is for children ages 6-12. The program is outdoors so dress appropriately.

Science day planned at FELC

The Franciscan Earth Literacy Center is to host Science Day for Kids 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday, 194 St. Francis Ave.

The program is for children ages 5 to 10 years old. The topic is physics and chemistry.
