Woman who jumped from vehicle in critical condition
A woman in custody who jumped from a vehicle on US 224 Thursday was in critical condition Friday night.
Seneca County Sheriff Bill Eckelberry said Jessica Poole, who had a hearing in Tiffin-Fostoria Municipal Court Thursday, was taken by Life Flight to Mercy Health – St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo with head injuries.
Poole was in critical condition Friday night, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Eckelberry said Heidi Ramirez, a Tiffin-Fostoria Municipal Court probation officer, was transporting Poole from Fostoria to Seneca County Jail. Poole jumped out of the city vehicle.
Seneca County Sheriff’s Office is seeking witnesses to the incident. Witnesses can call the office at (419) 447-3456.
