Fostoria man shot by arrow
FOSTORIA — A man who was struck by an arrow was flown to a trauma center Sunday, according to Fostoria Police Department.
A release states the police department received a report about a man struck by an arrow about 7 p.m. Sunday.
Officers responded to 855 Walnut St. and found a 24-year-old man with an arrow through his lower extremities, The man was taken by Fostoria Fire Division to ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital and then was flown to a trauma center, the release states.
Evidence showed the youth who shot the arrow was practicing with a target behind his house, and it appeared to be an accident, the release states.
The identities of those involved were not released by Fostoria Police Department, and it was under investigation Monday.
