Six people were injured in an accident at CR 38 and CR 41 Saturday evening.

Trooper Frank Vazquez of the Fremont post of State Highway Patrol said Nicholas Huber, of Perrysburg, was stopped facing north on CR 41 in a 2012 Ford Escape with Abigail Curtiss; Kendall Huber, 5; Cameron Huber, 14; and an infant, Caleb Huber.

Vazquez said Harold Zeiter, 60, of Norwalk, was eastbound on CR 38 in a 2005 Ford Taurus with his wife, Sandra, 56, and grandchildren Alex Maschari, 18, and Angel, all of Norwalk.

Huber did not see the oncoming car and pulled into the intersection, striking Zeiter’s vehicle, Vasquez said.

Vasquez said Curtiss, Kendall Huber, Cameron Huber, Caleb Huber, Harold Zeiter and Sandra Zeiter all were transported to Mercy Health-Tiffin Hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Everybody involved was wearing seatbelts, Vazquez said.

He said Nicholas Huber was cited with failure to yield at a stop sign.

The accident was reported at 5:36 p.m., and Tiffin Fire Rescue Division, Clinton Township Volunteer Fire Department, Republic EMS, State Highway Patrol and the Echo unit responded to the scene.
