‘The Little Mermaid’ takes stage at Seneca East
Seneca East is staging “The Little Mermaid” at 7 p.m. today and Saturday and at 3 p.m. Sunday.
Set under and above the high seas, the musical tells the story of Ariel, whose fascination with the human world often leads her to the sea surface, a zone designated as off-limits by her father Triton, the sea king. One day while sneaking to the surface, Ariel witnesses a shipwreck and rescues Prince Eric, with whom she becomes instantly smitten. Furious at Triton’s inability to understand her love for the prince, Ariel runs away and strikes a deal with Ursula, Triton’s evil sister, to experience the life she dreams of on land.

Ensemble cast members include Alissa Daniel, Dominque Hall, Hannah Michel, Callie Rife, Addison Traylor, Alexis Kelbley, Courtney Heiser, Brooklyn Brookes, Delaney Drown, Sydney Green, Katie Hall, Camie Harben and Hallie Miller.
Tickets are $9 for adults and $7 for students and seniors.
