Religion briefs, Oct. 17 | Advertiser-Tribune Community can join choir Area singers are invited to join the Carey Ecumenical Christmas Choir as preparations begin for this year's concert, set for 4:30 p.m. Dec. 13 at the Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation, 315 Clay St., Carey. This year will mark the choir's 44th year of presenting the musical program at this historic shrine. Rehearsals are to be at Christ Lutheran Church, 116 W. Findlay St., Carey. The first rehearsal is Thursday and the second is Oct. 27. Rehearsals begin at 7 p.m. and will about two hours.
