Coroner: Homicide victim beaten, shot
CLYDE – The Sandusky County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the homicide of a Fremont woman.
A dispatcher from the sheriff’s office said Sunday evening no arrests had been made in the homicide of Heather Bogle, 28, whose body was found in the trunk of her vehicle Friday evening at Somerton Apartments in Clyde.
Bogle had been reported missing Thursday. She was last seen that morning leaving work at Whirlpool.
Clyde Police Chief Bruce Gower said Sunday an autopsy performed by the Lucas County Coroner’s Office revealed the former Tiffin resident had been beaten and shot.
Gower said Clyde police assisted the Sandusky County Sheriff’s Office in attempting to locate Bogle and at the crime scene Friday.
