Tiffin man pleads guilty to burglary, drug charges

A Tiffin man is awaiting sentencing after he pleaded guilty to drug trafficking and burglary charges Wednesday.

Daniel R. Brown, 25, appeared in Seneca County Common Pleas Court Judge Michael Kelbley’s courtroom, where he pleaded guilty to one count each of burglary, a third-degree felony; trafficking in drugs, a fifth-degree felony; and trafficking in heroin, also a fifth-degree felony.

Brown was indicted in June on the charges, which stem from two separate cases, for trespassing at a first-block North SR 101 residence in July of 2013. His indictments state he also sold heroin in July 2013 and Hydrocodone in August 2013.

Kelbley ordered a pre-sentence investigation Wednesday for Brown, who faces up a maximum prison sentence of four-and-a-half years and a fine of up to $15,000, according to his indictment.
