Complicity arrest made

A Findlay man indicted in February on a charge of complicity to trafficking in LSD was arrested this week.

According to court documents, Teague A. Robinson, 24, was arrested Monday on the fourth-degree felony charge.

He is one of three people indicted on the same charge stemming from an investigation involving an accidental death reported in May of last year.

According to their indictments, Robinson and Tiffin residents Samantha M. Griffin, 24, and Scott E. Stephens, 24, allegedly had aided or abetted in distributing LSD May 12, 2013.

Law enforcement previously said the charges came as a result of investigation into the death of 21-year-old Dominic Hays, who was found bleeding and unconscious in his East Perry Street residence the morning of May 13, 2013.

Hays is believed to have fallen down a flight of stairs, which resulted in blunt force trauma to his head and shoulder area. He died the same day at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center.

Court documents state Griffin’s charge of complicity to trafficking in LSD was amended to a fifth-degree felony charge. Her attorney, along with Stephens’ attorney, have sought intervention in lieu of conviction. Their cases are pending in Seneca County Common Pleas Court.

A court spokeswoman for Seneca County Common Pleas Court Judge Michael Kelbley said Robinson appeared in court Wednesday, where his bond was set at $20,000 with 10 percent cash or surety allowed. He is scheduled to appear in court Monday for an arraignment.
