Seneca County Commissioners
Seneca County Board of Commissioners is to meet in a work session at 9:30 a.m. today.
During the regular board session at 10 a.m., the board is to discuss joint ditch maintenance assessments with Hancock, Huron and Crawford counties.
At 11 a.m., the board is to have the second public hearing for the Community Development Block Grant projects.
In new business, the board is to discuss:
A fund transfer of $96,790 to the Youth Center Construction Fund.
A supplemental appropriation of $96,790 for the General Fund.
A fund advance of $1,671.83 from the General Fund to the Youth Center Construction Fund.
A fund advance repayment of $250,000 from the Youth Center Construction Fund to the Capital Projects Fund.
A resolution to affirm Seneca County’s due diligence, to provide for equal housing opportunity and affirmatively further fair housing in Seneca County.
A resolution approving the projects and amounts for the CDBG 2014 Community Development Allocation Program and authorizing Board President Holly Stacy to sign the application to be submitted for the program.
A resolution addressing Seneca County’s Anti-Displacement and Relocation Plan for all CDBG programs.
A resolution authorizing the board to enter into an agreement/contract with Ohio Department of Transportation.
A resolution authorizing annual assessments upon benefited landowners as defined Ohio Revised Code: approval of proposed maintenance work for several single-county ditches now under maintenance work for 2013 and approval of requests for maintenance assessments for maintenance work performed as submitted by Seneca Soil and Water Conservation District, Ditch Maintenance Department and approved by the Seneca County engineer.
A resolution authorizing a contract with Local Government Services LLC on behalf of the Seneca County Auditor’s Office.
A resolution hiring Cheston Matthews as an intermittent maintenance worker for the Seneca County Maintenance Department through the TANF Summer Youth Employment Program effective Wednesday.
