2 charged after Tiffin burglary
Two people were arrested after Tiffin Police Department personnel caught them allegedly burglarizing a Circular Street house Saturday.
Josh A. Johnson, 34, of Tiffin, was charged with burglary, a second-degree felony, and possession of heroin and criminal tools, both fifth-degree felonies. He had heroin in his pocket, Officer Jake DeMonte of Tiffin Police Department said.
Emilee E. Davis, 29, of McCutchenville, was charged with burglary, a second-degree felony.
Both were taken to Seneca County Jail. They were being held without bond Saturday night, a jail spokesman said.
DeMonte said a neighbor saw Davis and Johnson enter the house, and law enforcement personnel caught them walking out of it.
“They stole some property,” he said.
DeMonte said Davis and Johnson knew the residents who lived there. They said they had permission to be in the house, but did not, he said.
Officers were sent to the residence at 4:57 p.m., a police department spokeswoman said.
