St. Francis director appointed
St. Francis Senior Ministries has hired Jessica Short as executive director.
She is to be responsible for the operational oversight of the senior care community and be responsible for ensuring the quality of care.
“We are thrilled to have Jessica Short join our team,” said Sister Jackie Doepker, community minister and president of Sisters of St. Francis. “She not only brings a breadth of experience in senior care, but has a compassionate spirit that will blend well with the culture and values of our St. Francis campus.”
Prior to joining St. Francis Senior Ministries, Short served as executive administrator for Kingston of Vermillion, a 120-bed skilled nursing community in Vermillion, and has more than seven years’ experience in senior care. She holds a master’s of business administration degree from Tiffin University.
Short began her duties Monday and resides in Sandusky.
St Francis Senior Ministries has been under the management of Trinity Senior Living Communities of Livonia, Michigan, since January 2013.
