County Commission agenda

Seneca County commissioners are to meet at 10 a.m. today.

During the regular session, commissioners are to meet with Mike Jay from Regional Growth Partnership. At 10:15 a.m., bids are to be opened for the 2014 chip seal program.

At 10:30 a.m., commissioners are to host a public hearing on the CHIP program and, at 11 a.m., they are to have a public hearing on the Community Development Block Grant program.

In other business, the board is to discuss:

An appropriation adjustment of $2,540.30 within the General Fund.

A supplemental appropriation of $7,897.72 for the SFY14 Community Corrections Fund.

A supplemental appropriation of $163,612.15 for the General Fund for 2014.

A supplemental appropriation of $6,827.48 for the Delinquent Care and Custody Grant Fund.

A resolution setting the time, date and place to receive sealed bids for the CDBG FY13 village of Bettsville culvert replacement project.

A resolution authorizing the board to enter into a contract with Lindsay Precast Inc. for the TR 75 bridge precast reinforced concrete box project.

A resolution authorizing a contract service agreement between Shelly A. Burkhart and the Seneca County Board of Elections, retroactive to April 4.

A resolution authorizing the 2014 software support agreement with MacDonald Friedberg Carr and Dixon on behalf of the Seneca County Clerk of Courts.

County Commission Agenda

Michael Gaynor, national field director for Go Rail, is to meet with Seneca County commissioners in a work session at 9:30 a.m. today.

The board also is to discuss a new EMS contract during its work session.


At 10 a.m., the board is to meet with Jason Sidell from Seneca County 4-H Extension.

At 10:15 a.m., the board is to open a bid for the TR 76 Precast Reinforced Concrete Box project.

At 10:45 a.m., the board is meet with new Seneca County General Health District Commissioner Beth Schweitzer.

At 2 p.m., the board is to meet with stakeholders to discuss the geographical information systems.
