Official election count today
Seneca County Board of Elections is to meet at 1 p.m. today to begin the official count for the primary election.
Members also are to discuss related items and personnel matters.
Rain delays Swing for a Cure
SYCAMORE – Swing for a Cure, a fundraising softball game betwen Mohawk and North Baltimore high schools, has been rescheduled for 11 a.m. today at Legion Field in Sycamore.
Players are to dress in pink, and raffles are to raise money for hospice care and to fight cancer.
Mudrun planned in Fort Seneca
FORT SENECA – The P.M. Gillmor Community Park in Fort Seneca is to host a 5K Mudrun June 7.
There will be an adult race at 10:30 a.m. and a kids’ race at noon. There will wil 20 obstacles including mud pits, ice baths, climbing walls, slip ‘n’ slide and more.

Zoning appeals board to meet
The Tiffin Board of Zoning Appeals is to meet at 3 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall to discuss a variance from a decision of the city engineer/zoning inspector to construct a 6-foot-high fence in a front yard at 62 Wentz St.
SR 19 work to begin soon
Effective May 27 through June 30, SR 19 between CR 6 and SR 224 is to be closed for culvert repair. All work is weather permitting.
EMS topic of council meeting
REPUBLIC – Republic Village Council is to meet at 7:30 .m. Sunday at the Scipio Township meeting room to discuss the EMS system.
