Tiffin man sentenced for drug charges
A Tiffin man arrested in February on drug-related charges was sentenced to 24 months in prison last week.
Bobby L. Williams, 33, also was ordered to pay $700 to the Seneca County Drug Task Force METRICH Enforcement Unit after he pleaded guilty to two counts of trafficking in heroin, one a third-degree felony and the other a fourth, in Seneca County Common Pleas Court Judge Michael Kelbley’s courtroom, according to court documents.
A charge of complicity to trafficking in heroin, a fifth-degree felony, was dismissed.
Williams was one of several people indicted by a Seneca County grand jury in February on charges involving heroin, prescription drugs and cocaine. The indictments were a result of several investigations on behalf of METRICH.
