Fostoria woman awaits sentence
A Fostoria woman is awaiting sentencing after she pleaded guilty to charges of endangering children and permitting drug abuse.
Sarah Crane, 26, pleaded guilty to endangering children, a first-degree misdemeanor, and also waived an indictment charging her with permitting drug abuse, a fifth-degree felony, in Seneca County Common Pleas Court Judge Michael Kelbley’s courtroom, according to court documents.
Along with the endangering children charge, Crane also had been indicted on charges of trafficking in heroin, trafficking in cocaine and possession of criminal tools. Those charges were dismissed this week.
The charges stem from a drug-related search warrant at Crane’s Columbus Avenue residence in August where suspected heroin, crack cocaine, criminal tools, drug paraphernalia and money were found.
Lamar Cartlidge, 34, who lived at the same residence, also was indicted on two counts of trafficking in heroin, two counts of trafficking in cocaine, two counts of endangering children and one count of possession of criminal tools. The case is scheduled to go to trial next week.
