Honor Flight planned for June 4

Flag City Honor Flight of Findlay is to stage it’s fourth annual flight June 4 to Washington, D.C.

According to a release from FCHF, the organization takes veterans of World War II, the Korean War and any life-threatened Vietnam War veterans to view national monuments. Veterans pay nothing for the trip and are accompanied by guardians who make a donation to Honor Flight.

According to the release, FCHF flies out of the Grand Aire terminal at Toledo Express Airport.

Anyone with an interest in assisting FCHF also is encouraged to apply. Forms for veterans, guardians and volunteers can be downloaded at www.flagcityhonorflight.org.
