Artist to show work, demonstrate at gallery

FINDLAY – The artwork of Jeanne Beutler is to be spotlighted throughout March at The Gaslight Gallery, 117 E. Crawford St., Findlay.

A painter, illustrator and weaver, Beutler will be demonstrating the art of pastel painting 5-9 p.m. March 7 during First Friday Gallery Hop. “Promises of Spring” is the name of her latest collection of pastel paintings featuring landscapes bursting with color, blossoming trees and blooming meadows.

In addition to pastels, Beutler has illustrated a series of charcoal portraits of Native Americans and famous personalities including the Beatles and Mother Teresa. The Gaslight Gallery also displays a collection of prints and original acrylic and watercolor paintings by Beutler. Regular gallery hours are 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.
