Bond set for three suspects in Tiffin burglary Monday
Bond was set Wednesday for three men arrested in connection to a residential burglary and car theft reported early Monday morning in Tiffin.
According to court documents, Justin A. Matthews, 27, of Tiffin, appeared by video in Tiffin Municipal Court Wednesday where his bond was set at $250,000. He is charged with burglary, a second-degree felony.
Anthony R. Cortez, 35, of Tiffin, who also is charged with burglary, a second-degree felony, had his bond set at $100,000 during his video appearance Wednesday. The third man, Dennis Dinan, 30, of Tiffin, who faces a charge of aiding and abetting, a second-degree felony, had his bond set at $250,000, a court spokeswoman said.
The three men were arrested Tuesday in connection to a Sycamore Street burglary in which a car, electronics, food and dishware were stolen from a residence.
Matthews is scheduled to appear again in court for a preliminary hearing Wednesday and Cortez is to appear Jan. 24 for a his preliminary hearing, according to court documents. A preliminary hearing for Dinan has not yet been set, a court spokeswoman said.
