Woman charged with assault after crash

A woman was charged with assault after allegedly punching another woman after a accident Saturday afternoon.

According to a Tiffin Police Department report, a woman reported at 12:26 p.m. that she had been in a car accident, and the other driver got out and punched her in the face.

Sgt. Jared Watson of Tiffin Police Department said Zsatiese M. Webb, 21, of Toledo, was charged with assault, a first-degree misdemeanor, after the non-injury accident at East Market and Jefferson streets. He declined to comment about what prompted Webb to allegedly punch Amy L. Bour, 40, of Tiffin.

Watson said Webb was driving a 2004 Chysler Sebring, and Bour was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer. Both were northbound on Jefferson Street when Webb made an improper pass on the right side, he said.

Webb, who was cited with improper passing on the right, is to appear in Tiffin Municipal Court at 9 a.m. Wednesday.

Bour did not report any injuries as a result of being punched, Watson said.

Alcohol and drugs were not suspected, and both drivers were wearing seatbelts, he said.
