New CASA volunteers sworn in
Three area residents recently completed the training to become Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteers for CASA of Seneca, Sandusky and Wyandot Counties. Seneca County Juvenile Court Judge Jay Meyer conducted the swearing-in ceremony for Nancy Grandillo of Tiffin, Sandusky County Juvenile Court Judge Brad Smith conducted the ceremony for Kay Yeagle of Fremont and Grandillo and Wyandot County Judge Kathleen Aubry conducted the swearing-in for Jessica Webley of Upper Sandusky.
Child abuse is an ongoing problem in our community, and good dedicated citizens of the community are needed to help these children. Applications are being accepted now for the next volunteer training at 5 p.m. March 13 at the main office, 21 Court St., Tiffin.
