Woman pleads not guilty for assaulting boyfriend

A woman facing a felonious assault charge for allegedly cutting and injuring her boyfriend with a work utility knife entered a not guilty plea Thursday.

Veronica A. Willman, 38, of Tiffin, had been indicted by a grand jury on the second-degree felony charge in October following her arrest in September.

Willman was arrested in Berwick a day after she allegedly used a utility knife to cut her boyfriend during an argument in Tiffin. The man suffered cuts to his face, arm and hand.

Willman’s $100,000 bond was continued Thursday by Seneca County Common Pleas Court Judge Steve Shuff.
