Woman jailed for drug, theft charges
A Tiffin woman was sentenced to four and a half years in prison after she pleaded guilty to drug and theft charges last week.
Lindsay F. Hicks, 28, was sentenced by Seneca County Common Pleas Court Judge Michael Kelbley to 54 months in prison after she pleaded guilty to complicity to aggravated trafficking in drugs, a first-degree felony, aggravated theft, a third-degree felony, and failure to appear, a fourth-degree felony. The charges stemmed from three separate cases.
According to her indictments, Hicks aided or abetted in selling Oxycodone in January 2009 and then violated her personal recognizance bond.
According to a bill of information, she also stole property or services from a person in February 2011 that were valued at $150,000 or more.
As part of her sentence, Hicks was ordered to pay restitution of $150,000 to the victim.
