Harvest Fest activities set
Seneca Soil and Water Conservation District’s Harvest Fest is set for Saturday at Miller Farm
A nature and candy hike, hayrides and archery are to be featured at this year’s event 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at Miller Conservation Farm, 5670 E TR 138.
Along with Seneca Soil and Water Conservation District, many businesses and conservation partners help to sponsor activities.
The favorite activity of Harvest Fest is a nature and candy hike during which families hike through the woods, stopping at stations along the way. The hiking trail is stroller accessible, though not paved.
Hayrides, archery, games, crafts and educational displays will be going on, and food will be available for purchase. Games include the Quarter Wheel.
Harvest Fest will take place rain or shine.
Volunteers are needed for the event. Assistance from organizations is welcome.
