Sycamore moves ahead with water plant project
SYCAMORE – Village council heard Kelstin Inc. has moved a job trailer on the work site at the water plant, with groundbreaking to follow soon.
Also at the meeting last week, Darcy Zimmerman made a motion to adopt a resolution authorizing the village mayor to submit an application to participate in the Ohio Public Works Commission state capital improvements program for interest assistance for the water treatment plant.
In other matters:
The fire department had Danner’s deliver a ladder truck to Newark for painting.
A computer for EMS is being reviewed.
A Gator vehicle is in use and reportedly looks great.
M&B Asphalt finished paving streets.
Council accepted the resignation of part-time patrolman William Pelish Jr., effective immediately.
