Robbery suspect arrested

A Tiffin man has been arrested in connection to a robbery reported Sept. 5 on Second Avenue.

Lt. Jason Windsor of the Tiffin Police Department said Bryan C. Martinez, 41, was arrested Sunday and charged with robbery, a second-degree felony.

Martinez had allegedly robbed a man of his wallet in the 100 block of Second Avenue.

The victim said the man also assaulted him and had something in his hand. Windsor said Martinez did not display a weapon, but allegedly hit the victim with his hands.

The victim was not injured.

Windsor said Martinez got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
