Bond set for local man charged with burglary
Bond was set at $100,000 Monday for a man arrested over the weekend and charged with burglary.
Matthew E. Lands, 20, appeared in Tiffin Municipal Court Monday morning for an arraignment and bond hearing on the second-degree felony charge, according to court documents.
Lands was arrested Sunday morning after a West Crestview Lane person reported an intruder.
After deputies arrived at the residence, Lands, the boyfriend of the residents’ daughter, was located by the homeowner in a closet. Keys to the homeowner’s car and credit cards were found on him.
According to court documents, Lands’ case was continued Monday for a preliminary hearing.
