Fostoria men charged with burglary
Two Fostoria men face burglary-related charges for two recent burglaries.
Richard R. Ticey Jr, age unavailable, was charged with tampering with evidence and burglary after a 600-block South Main Street man reported early Monday morning he found another man inside his closet, Capt. Patrick Brooks of the Fostoria Police Department said.
After he was discovered, the man reportedly dove out of the closet and left the residence. Brooks said the resident then flagged down a police officer in a gas station parking lot and nearby officers located Ticey and arrested him. Ticey, who is scheduled to appear in Fostoria Municipal Court for an arraignment today, had his bond set Monday at $50,000 with 10 percent surety allowed.
Saturday night, Fostoria resident Brian M. Rinebold, 28, was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary and burglary. Brooks said Rinebold had allegedly broken into a residence and assaulted a woman inside. Brooks said Rinebold knew the woman, who was not transported to the hospital.
According to Fostoria Municipal Court documents, Rinebold also is scheduled to appear today in court for an arraignment. His bond was set at $100,000 Monday.
