Driver pleads not guilty to vehicular homicide charge
A Bascom man who was indicted on an aggravated vehicular homicide charge appeared in court Tuesday, where he pleaded not guilty to the third-degree felony charge.
Kevin T. Wertz, 21, also was released Tuesday on a personal recognizance bond, according to court documents.
Wertz, who was indicted on the charge last week, was the driver of a single-vehicle accident that killed 20-year-old Jacob Hohman, of Bascom.
The accident had occurred Oct. 27 on TR 71A.
