Board funds cemetery work
Seneca County commissioners agreed Tuesday to provide funds for Travis Gase’s Seneca County Cemetery rehabilitation project.
The board agreed to fund the project, which would straighten and reset old gravestones, now and receive a reimbursable grant in return. This would allow Gase to start on the project immediately.
EMS Director Ken Majors introduced Chris Hafley, the newest member of the Echo Unit. He recently retired from the Tiffin Fire Department and said he was happy to continue working and teaching in the unit.
“Chris brings a lot of experience to us,” Majors said. “We’re lucky to have him.”
