Red Cross director returns from Oklahoma relief work

Todd James, executive director of the American Red Cross of Hancock, Seneca and Wyandot Counties, has returned home from his work with the Red Cross relief effort in the Oklahoma City area.

James served as public affairs

manager for the Red Cross’ ongoing effort to help families affected by tornadoes that struck the area May 19, 20 and 31.

“The relief effort is going very well. We have met the immediate needs of thousands of families; food, shelter, clothing, supplies, medical and emotional support and now we are beginning to work on their long-term recovery,” James said. “It’s going to be a long process, but working with our many community partners, we are going to make sure the families get the help they need.”
