Fourth of July celebrations set


Tiffin is to celebrate Thursday at Hedges-Boyer Park thanks to the fundraising of Real Living Generations Realty and the Music & Art Festival.

Starting at 3 p.m., Jumpers Wild Inflatables are scheduled along with a youth corn hole tournament. At 5 p.m an Adult Corn Hole Tournament is to be held. A pet parade is at 5:30 p.m. and a big wheel race for 5- to 8-year-olds is at 6 p.m. An all-ages water balloon toss is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. and a money hunt for 11-year-olds and younger is scheduled for 7 p.m. Rusty Vinyl and Friends are to perform at 7 p.m. and fireworks are to start at 10 p.m.

Fostoria is to celebrate Thursday at Foundation Park. The celebration begins at 3 p.m. and is to feature live music and food, along with a Fostoria’s Got Talent competition at 6 p.m. Fireworks are scheduled for dusk.


Bettsville’s celebration is Thursday at Howard P. Eells Park. There is a charge of $5 per car load to fund the fireworks display.

Camping is to start Wednesday. Electric spots for campers only are available for $50 and primitive spots are $30 for the entire stay.

Green Springs

Green Springs is to celebrate with an event Saturday. There is to be a softball tournament along with a parade at 4 p.m. Live bands and a beer tent are planned for Saturday night. Fireworks are scheduled at dusk.
