Court bill passes Senate

COLUMBUS – House Bill 141, legislation creating Tiffin-Fostoria Municipal Court, was passed today by the Ohio Senate by a vote of 32-0.

The bill, sponsored by Rep. Rex Damschroder, R-Fremont, contains an emergency clause, allowing election to the newly created court to occur in November. The physical locations of the current courts in Tiffin and Fostoria would remain, with the elected judge traveling between both locations during the week.
