Police investigate early morning robbery

Tiffin police are investigating the report of an early Tuesday morning robbery.

According to Tiffin police reports, a man went to the station with two other men just before 3:30 a.m. to report he and one of the other men were robbed at knifepoint at an apartment in the first block of North Washington Street.

He told police after answering a knock on the apartment door, he was shoved inside and told to turn around.

The suspects, described as three or four black males, then told the men inside the apartment to get into a closet and stay in it for 10 minutes.

The man said one of the suspects possibly had a gun.

Tiffin Police Chief Fred Stevens said the incident is under investigation and no arrests had been made as of Tuesday evening.
