OVI checkpoint tonight

FINDLAY – State Highway Patrol, in conjunction with Findlay Police Department and Hancock County Sheriff’s Office, announced today that an OVI checkpoint will be 8 p.m.-midnight today on Tiffin Avenue in Findlay.

The OVI checkpoint, funded by federal grant funds, is planned to deter and intercept impaired drivers, a release states.

The checkpoint will also be held in conjunction with nearby saturation patrols to aggressively combat alcohol-related injury and fatal crashes, the release states.
