Police searching for robbery suspect

Police are searching for a Tiffin man believed to be a suspect in two recent robberies at Hy-Miler.

Sgt. Rob Bour of the Tiffin Police Department said an arrest warrant has been issued for Cody A. Johnson, 22, who has been identified through video surveillance as the suspect in two March robberies at the South Sandusky Street gas station.

During the first robbery, reported March 14, a male suspect, who had his face covered, entered the store at 247 S. Sandusky St. and took the cash box. A man entered the store March 28, grabbed the cash register and ran. The second time, he did not have his face covered.

Bour said Johnson may have left Tiffin and could be on the run.
