Bond set at $100k for man charged with robbing gas station
A man arrested earlier this week for allegedly robbing Hy-Miler last month appeared in court Wednesday where a cash bond was set at $100,000.
During his court appearance, Cody A. Johnson, 22, of Tiffin, also pleaded no contest and was found guilty of a separate charge of theft. The first-degree misdemeanor charge stemmed from an incident in which he stole alcohol from a different gas station.
Johnson was sentenced to 180 days in jail for the theft conviction.
He is scheduled to appear again in court for a preliminary hearing on the robbery charge, a third-degree felony, Wednesday.
