Victim assistance program to receive pharmacy cards
American Consultants Rx has announced the re-release of an American Consultants Rx community service project in response to those whose financial struggles include the cost of prescription drugs.
Millions of free discount prescription cards are being donated, including in Tiffin and Seneca County.
The Seneca County Victim Assistance Program has received an initial donation of free prescription cards. The cards are to be given free to anyone in need.
American Consultants’ discount prescription card program was created in 2004. Since then, more than 25 million discount prescription cards have been donated to more than 40,000 organizations across the country.
The ACRX cards offer discounts of up to 40 percent on name-brand drugs and up to 60 percent on generic drugs. The cards have no eligibility requirements, no forms to fill out and no expiration date.
The cards come to each organization already activated. They are good at more than 50,000 stores, including Walgreens, Wal-Mart, Eckerd’s, Kmart, Kroger, Publix and more.
American Consultants also has arranged for organizations to download the card at www.acrxcards.org.
