Police investigating Tiffin robbery

Police are investigating a robbery reported early Thursday morning at Hy-Miler, 247 S. Sandusky St.

According to Tiffin Police reports, a panic alarm was received from the gas station at 1:17 a.m. after a man entered the store, grabbed the cash register and took off with it. A man was then seen running toward Benner Street, the report states.

The suspect was described as in his 20s and as having a similar build as the male suspect who robbed the store March 14. This time, the man did not have his face covered, Sgt. Rob Bour of the Tiffin Police Department said.

On March 14, a man entered the store, demanded the cash box and took it after the clerk refused to give it to him.

Bour said no arrests have been made, but police do have a person of interest.
