Man guilty of child endangerment

A Tiffin man was found guilty of endangering children, a third-degree felony, after a two-day jury trial ended last week in Seneca County Common Pleas Court Judge Michael Kelbley’s courtroom.

Rodney A. Miller Jr., 23, had been indicted on the charge in June for creating a substantial risk to the health or safety of a 3-month-old infant between December 2011 and March 2012, according to his indictment. He had entered a not guilty plea in June.

The jury further found that offense did not result in serious physical harm to the child, according to court documents.

He is scheduled to be sentenced Thursday. He could face up to 36 months in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.
