Man arrested after allegedly ramming cruisers

A Fostoria man was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly rammed his vehicle into police cruisers as police attempted to serve a search warrant at his West Fremont Street residence.

Eric E. Coleman II, 22, has been charged with aggravated vehicular assault on several police officers and also faces additional charges of possession of heroin, possession of criminal tools, possession of stolen firearms, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana pending further investigation and lab testing, according to a release from the Seneca County Drug Task Force METRICH Enforcement Unit.

Suspected heroin, money, criminal tools, prescription pills, drug paraphernalia, marijuana and handguns were found at Coleman’s residence during the search.
