• Tyler J. Kelly, 22, of Tiffin, was charged with resisting arrest Thursday.

• Daniel A. Gonya, 65, of Tiffin, was charged with theft Thursday.

• A 200-block Union Street person reported a man was beating a youth with a metal pipe Thursday afternoon.

• A 100-block Dallas Street person reported Thursday afternoon the theft of medication sometime between Dec. 4 and Dec. 7.

• A youth was charged with menacing, juvenile-delinquent, assault and disorderly conduct Friday.

• Kimp A. Patillo, 27, of Tiffin, was charged with theft Friday.

County report

• A 3000-block North TR 47 man reported the theft of a snowblower Thursday afternoon.

Fostoria reports

• Clairissa J. Price, 24, of Fostoria, was charged with disorderly conduct Thursday.

• Patrick K. Downing, 57, of Fostoria, was charged with disorderly conduct Thursday.

• A 600-block Lynn Street person reported damage done to a vehicle, possibly by a BB, Thursday evening.

• A 400-block West Lytle Street man reported a woman was causing damage to his grandmother’s property early Friday morning.

• A 600-block Lynn Street man reported his truck was damaged by what looked to be a BB pellet Friday morning.

• A first-block Barcelona Drive woman reported a scam on Facebook Friday morning.

State Patrol

• Sean E. Hubbard, 34, of Bascom, was charged with a Financial Responsibility Act suspension Thursday.

Fire

• Tiffin Fire Rescue Division responded to a smoke detector activation at 156 Clay St. Friday morning. There was no fire, and it was unintentional.

• Tiffin Fire Rescue Division had one squad run Thursday afternoon, two squad runs Thursday evening, two squad runs Thursday night and one squad run Friday morning.

Births

• A son, Kanan James Herner, was born Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018, to Misty Dawn and Chad Michael Herner of Bloomville. Kanan weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces, and measured 20 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Kim and Ron Stephens of Plymouth. Paternal grandparents are Mike and Kelly Herner of Willard. Maternal great-grandmother is Lou King of Willard. Paternal great-grandparents are Jim and Bev Graffice of Willard and Larry and Mary Ann Herner of Monroeville.

• A son, Nolan Robert Yarger, was born Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018, to Michelle and Kevin Yarger of Tiffin. Nolan weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces, and measured 21 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Jeff and Joyce Work of Tiffin. Paternal grandparents are Gary and Janet Yarger of Rudolph. Maternal great-grandmother is Janet Work of Tiffin.
