Tiffin reports

• A woman at Walmart, 2801 W. SR 18, reported she lost her wallet and it was turned into customer service and her cash was missing Saturday afternoon.

• A 200-block West Perry Street woman reported the unauthorized use of her debit card Saturday afternoon.

• An employee of Little Hugo’s, 410 W. Market St., reported the business was broken into and it was ransacked Sunday morning.

• A 200-block Clinton Avenue man reported a bookbag was stolen out of his car Sunday afternoon.

County reports

• A person reported a domestic violence incident in the 1000 block of East CR 38 Saturday night.

• A 9000-block East SR 162 woman reported someone broke into her parents’ house and they pried the safe open, took everything out of it, threw it in the pool and a bedroom was gone through Sunday morning.

Fostoria reports

• A 1000-block Francis Avenue man reported a remote-control car was stolen from his apartment Saturday afternoon.

• A 500-block East Lytle Street woman reported her vehicle was damaged Saturday night.

• Officers responded to a report of a burglary in Wood County early Sunday morning.

Fostoria accident

• A citation of assured clear distance ahead was issued after a two-vehicle accident at North Countyline St. and Park Avenue Saturday morning.


• Tiffin Fire Rescue Division responded to an alarm system that sounded due to malfunction at 160 Miami St. Saturday evening.

• Tiffin Fire Rescue Division responded to an alarm system that sounded due to malfunction at 293 Miami St. Saturday night.


• Tiffin Fire Rescue Division had two squad runs Saturday afternoon, three squad runs Saturday evening, one squad run early Sunday morning and one squad run Sunday morning. Clinton fire assisted Saturday evening and early Sunday morning.

• North Central EMS and Green Springs fire responded to SR 101 and SR 778 for a two-vehicle accident Saturday evening. There was no transport.

• Attica-Venice-Reed EMS, Attica-Venice-Reed fire and the Echo unit had two squad runs Saturday night.

• Bascom EMS and fire and the Echo unit had a squad run Sunday afternoon.
