A caller reported Friday afternoon a woman stopped her vehicle in the first block of Westwood Drive, got out and tied two goats to a pole. She then left. The woman later came back with ice cream and got the goats.
A caller from Tiffin Developmental Center, 600 N. River Road, reported Friday afternoon a woman was caught stealing potting soil from the greenhouse.
A woman reported Friday evening that while her son was riding his bike in the area of Ann and Hancock streets, he was shot with a pellet gun. The woman said her son did not need an ambulance. The woman spoke with the other juvenile involved and did not wish for an officer to speak to the juvenile.
Bruce E. Hayward, 62, of Tiffin, was charged with disorderly conduct Friday night.
A caller reported Friday night a woman was assaulting a man in the 200 block of Wentz Street.
Sheila M. Mcardle, 48, of Tiffin, was charged with disorderly conduct early Saturday morning.
Jessie R. Babcock, 20, of Sycamore, was charged with underage possession/consumption early Saturday morning.
Christina M. Campbell, 20, of Tiffin, was charged with underage possession/consumption early Saturday morning.
A caller reported Saturday afternoon a man in the 100 block of East Perry Street was shooting a pump-up pellet or a BB gun out of a window. The man was given a warning for discharging a BB gun in the city.
A person ran into a cornfield after a deputy spotted a vehicle on the side of the road in the 2000 block of East TR 122 early Saturday morning. The owner of the vehicle walked up to the deputy and was arrested after drug paraphernalia was found in the vehicle. The Tiffin Police Department canine had been called to the traffic stop and indicated that drug paraphernalia was inside of the vehicle.
A caller from the emergency room reported Saturday morning they were treating a victim of a domestic violence incident that occurred on South CR 19. Deputy Denny Wilkinson of the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office said John Cascaden, 33, of Tiffin, was charged with domestic violence. The victim was treated for head injuries and bruises, Wilkinson said.
A caller in the 2000 block of South SR 231 requested a deputy Saturday morning in reference to an assault that occurred Friday night.
A 5000-block East TR 130 caller reported Saturday morning someone entered unlocked vehicles and items were missing.
A 500-block Stearns Road man requested to speak to an officer Friday afternoon about someone filing a tax return in his name.
A 500-block Miller Avenue man reported Friday afternoon his ex-wife broke into his residence.
A 1200-block Peeler Drive woman requested to speak to an officer Friday afternoon about a person who used her credit card and took her identity.
A caller from YMCA, 154 W. Center St., reported Friday afternoon siding on the concession stand building was damaged.
A 600-block Maple Street woman requested to speak to an officer Friday evening about a man putting his hands on her son.
A woman went to the station Friday evening with an item she believed was a scam. The item was shredded.
A caller reported Friday night a man grabbed a girl by the throat and he took her into an apartment in the 1200 block of Beier Drive. He then started to hit her, the caller said. A man was given a trespass warning.
A 700-block Cherry Street woman reported early Saturday morning two people were egging her residence. They then took off down an alley.
