Tiffin reports

A first-block Main Street caller reported Wednesday night a house had been egged.

Unruly juvenile charges were to be filed after a first-block Greeley Street man reported Wednesday night his 15-year-old daughter left the house and was supposed to be going to bed. The girl had returned prior to officers’ arrival.

A man reported Thursday morning somebody drew pictures on his vehicle windows overnight in the 400 block of South Washington Street.

A first-block East Perry Street person reported Thursday afternoon a credit card was stolen and used at several gas stations in town.

Tara N. Shoemaker, 31, of Tiffin, was charged with dog-at-large Thursday evening.

An adult was arrested early Friday morning after a caller reported an intoxicated woman was driving a minivan in the 1000 block of West Market Street. The owner of the van was found passed out in the passenger seat.

A caller from Viaduct Bar & Grill, 84 N. Washington St., reported early Friday morning two people were fighting in the bar. An assault had occurred and the victim wished to pursue charges, according to the report.

A man reported Friday afternoon that while he was looking for his cat, he found marijuana plants in the first block of St. Clair Street. The plants were taken by police to be destroyed.

County reports

Lorrie M. Hedges, 51, of Marblehead, was charged with criminal damaging for an incident April 20.

A 4000-block East CR 50 woman reported Thursday morning a package had been stolen off of her porch.

A first-block West TR 118 woman reported Thursday afternoon her neighbor had gone into her yard and threatened her.

A 100-block State Street woman reported Thursday evening two kids were kicking a door and damaging a residence in which tenants were being evicted.

An adult was arrested Friday morning after a 6000 block South SR 587 caller reported a man was out of control and throwing things at people.

Fostoria reports

Stephanie C. Faeth, 42, of Fostoria, was cited with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and having no operator’s license Monday.

A caller from Circle K, 551 E. Lytle St., reported a possible theft early Thursday morning.

A caller reported Thursday evening a dog was on a roof in the 600 block of South Poplar Street. A firefighter was able to get the dog to go back into the residence.

Two bicycles were reported stolen Thursday night from a 100 block East Eagle Street residence.

A person went to the station early Friday morning to speak to an officer about a theft.

A vehicle in the 300 block of South Union Street was reported entered Friday morning. Charges were to be filed.

State Patrol

A minor-injury accident was reported Wednesday night at North TR 69 and West CR 62. No transports were made from the scene.


Tiffin Fire Rescue Division was called to 93 Greenfield St. Wednesday evening for a smoke detector activation due to a malfunction.

Bettsville fire and EMS were called to North TR 69 and West CR 62 Wednesday night for an accident.

AVR fire and Attica EMS was called to East TR 104 Thursday night for an odor of ammonia.


Tiffin Fire Rescue Division had one squad run Wednesday evening, one squad run Wednesday night and two squad runs Thursday morning. It also had one squad run Thursday afternoon, one squad run Thursday night and one squad run early Friday morning.

Clinton fire and Tiffin Fire Rescue Division had one squad run Wednesday evening.

Green Springs fire had a squad run Wednesday night.

Republic fire and EMS, Green Springs fire and the Echo unit had a squad run Thursday afternoon.

Kansas fire and Fostoria EMS had a squad run Thursday evening.
