Tiffin reports

Kellie R. Collins, 42, of Tiffin, was charged with theft for an incident July 5.

Randy S. Franklin, 48, of Bellevue, was charged with disorderly conduct Thursday night.

A caller reported Thursday afternoon a windshield had ben broken out of a vehicle in the 300 block of South Washington Street.

A 200-block South Sandusky Street woman reported Thursday evening a man picked up her dog, which had gotten out of her house. The man told the woman he took the dog to the shelter, but the woman said she could see the dog in his window. The dog was returned to the woman.

A syringe was located in the first block of Riverside Drive Thursday night.

An adult was charged with persistent disorderly conduct by fighting Thursday night after a 100-block Eighth Avenue caller reported people were outside arguing. An ambulance was requested at the scene.

A person went to the station Friday afternoon to report identity theft.

A 400-block North Main Street man reported Thursday evening someone struck his garage, damaging it.

County reports

A theft was reported Thursday afternoon in the 400 block of North Liberty Street.

A 100-block West Morgan Street woman reported Thursday night a juvenile threatened her son with a bat.

A caller from Elmwood Healthcare Center, 401 N. Broadway St., reported early Friday morning a patient with a traumatic brain injury left the facility. A woman later reported the patient had showed up at her house and she had a protection order against him. The man was returned to the facility.

Cameron W. Cherb, 30, of Texas, was cited with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, failure to control and slow speed after a woman reported early Friday morning a vehicle was in a ditch in the 5000 block of South SR 231 and a male appeared to be intoxicated. The caller said the male, who was not injured, was attempting to drive away.

A caller reported Friday morning a lawnmower had been stolen from a cemetery near South TR 173 and East TR 58.

A man reported Friday afternoon $50 had been taken from his wallet while he was at the Seneca County Fair.

State Patrol

Ronald R. Brown, 49, of Bellevue, was cited with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, OVI refusal, speed and a seatbelt violation Wednesday.

Theresa J. Slay, 42, of Fostoria, was cited with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, OVI refusal and a turn signal violation Friday.

A minor-injury accident was reported early Friday morning at North SR 4 and East SR 162. A person was transported to Mercy Willard Hospital. Further details were unavailable Friday.


AVR fire and Attica EMS were called to an accident early Friday morning at North SR 4 and East SR 162.


Tiffin Fire Rescue Division had two squad runs Thursday afternoon, one squad run Thursday evening and one squad run Thursday night.

Green Springs fire had a squad run early Friday morning.
