A first-block East CR 16 man reported Friday morning his mailbox had been vandalized overnight. Mailboxes on West CR 52 and one on South TR 113 also were reported vandalized. A 2000-block South TR 113 woman had reported seeing someone smash her neighbor’s mailbox, but deputies were unable to locate the vehicle.
A man reported Friday morning items were stolen from a storage unit in the 6000 block of East TR 1068.

A person in the 1200 block of Beier Drive requested to speak to an officer Thursday night about an incident that allegedly took place in May. The report indicates it was a sex offense. Another person also requested to speak to an officer Thursday night about an incident that occurred with their daughter in May. A spokesman from the Fostoria Police Department said the incidents are under investigation. Further details were unavailable.
A person was arrested and charged with public intoxication Thursday night after a 1500-block North Countyline Street caller reported a woman was assaulting another person.
A security guard at Autolite, 1600 N. Union St., reported early Friday morning people were piling out of a vehicle and possibly going to fight. A woman called back police to report there was a fight and someone was videotaping it. Five youths were detained and released to their parents, according to the report. A woman is to be charged with criminal trespass.
