Tiffin reports

Harley L. Bushey, 25, of Tiffin, was charged with theft early Thursday morning.

A 15-year-old boy from Tiffin was charged with drug possession/abuse and juvenile delinquency Thursday evening. Police found three small bags of marijuana during a stop in the area of Liberty Street and Riverside Drive.

Jeffrey C. Wright, 41, of Tiffin, was cited with improper lane change and operating a vehicle while intoxicated Thursday night.

Matthew C. Gibson, 34, of Michigan, was charged with criminal trespass and criminal mischief early Friday morning. According to police reports, a caller from Clover Club, 266 S. Washington St., had reported a man was refusing to leave the establishment.

County reports

A person went to the station Thursday evening to report attempted fraud.

A man went to the station Friday morning to report fraudulent charges on his bank account.

Fostoria reports

A 1200-block Beier Drive woman reported Thursday afternoon someone was trying to get into her apartment. A person was issued a trespass order.

A person was given a citation for fictitious plates and possession of marijuana during a traffic stop Thursday evening in the 600 block of North Countyline Street. A person in the vehicle handed an officer a bag of a leafy, green substance.

A 400-block Short South Street woman reported Thursday someone was using her identity.

Joseph J. Lee, 33, of Fostoria, was charged with domestic violence, disrupting public service and resisting arrest Friday.

A vehicle in the 300 block of West High Street was reported broken into Friday morning.

Tiffin accident

David E. Swartz, 62, of Tiffin, was cited with improper turn following an accident Friday morning in the 100 block of East Market Street.

County accident

A vehicle struck livestock early Friday morning in the 13,000 block of East CR 56. There were no injuries.


Tiffin firefighters were called to Riverside Drive and Liberty Street Thursday evening for a service call.

AVR fire and Attica EMS had a false fire alarm Thursday evening on North Main Street.


Tiffin EMS had two squad runs Thursday afternoon, one squad run Thursday evening and two squad runs Thursday night.

Bloomville fire and EMS and the Echo unit had a squad run Friday afternoon.
